Mine dewatering and corrosive industrial wastewater transfer are the primary applications for this submersible corrosion-resistant pump, which excels at handling aggressive liquids and water of a corrosive nature. Its 316 stainless steel casting construction provides outstanding corrosion resistance in harsh environments where standard materials would fail. The unit is a practical solution for transferring wastewater and site runoff in mining, aggregate, and industrial fields.
Driven by a 1.5 kW / 415v motor, the pumping system achieves a maximum head of approximately 21 m and provides a flow capacity of approximately 645 L/Min. This 3-phase induction motor is continuous-duty rated for stable site water management through an 80 mm discharge bore. It handles drainage water with up to 10% dry matter and maintains reliable discharge pressure during drawdown.
The hydraulic design features a semi-open multi-vane impeller made of 316 stainless steel casting to facilitate the passage of solids up to 6 mm. This impeller configuration is dynamically balanced to reduce mechanical wear during high-head duties. The flow path assists the movement of abrasive particles through the pump casing, resisting erosive wear from corrosive site liquids and aggressive sewage.
Mechanical integrity is supported by a double-face mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces isolated in an oil chamber featuring an Oil Lifter. Protection is enhanced by FKM rubber parts and a circle thermal protector built into the motor housing. The unit utilizes a watertight cable entry with an anti-wicking block to protect the motor from moisture incursion, ensuring durability in demanding industrial sumps.
