Chemical processing and extreme high-head dewatering are the primary functions of this 11 kW submersible corrosion-resistant pump. It is designed for managing aggressive liquids and water of a corrosive nature in heavy industrial and mining applications. Its all-316 stainless steel casting construction provides excellent corrosion resistance by resisting chemical attack from fluids with a pH value as low as 3.

Driven by a powerful 11 kW / 415v motor, the system reaches a maximum head of approximately 44 m and a flow capacity of approximately 1940 L/Min. This motor utilizes a Star-Delta starting method and is continuous-duty rated for demanding site water management through an 80 mm discharge. It handles wastewater containing up to 10% dry matter with stable discharge pressure during intensive drawdown cycles.

The semi-open multi-vane impeller facilitates the passage of solids up to 23 mm, ensuring efficient displacement of site debris through the 316 stainless steel casting housing. The pump incorporates a seal pressure relief port to protect the mechanical seal against excessive pumping pressure. This hydraulic design helps maintain reliable operation during high-pressure discharge of abrasive and corrosive particles found in industrial runoff.

Construction features include dual inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces and a 316 stainless steel shaft. Protection is enhanced by miniature thermal protectors embedded in each motor winding and a moisture-resistant anti-wicking cable entry. Structural durability is provided by SCS14 casting and special FKM rubber parts that ensure compatibility with acidic and high-temperature chemical fluids.

    FEATURES

    • SCS14 (316 stainless steel casting) construction offers maximum reliability in acidic mine runoff and chemical processing wastewater.
    • Semi-open multi-vane impeller with a 23 mm solids handling capability facilitates the displacement of large suspended debris.
    • Integrated seal pressure relief port protects the shaft seal faces by diverting high pumping pressure and abrasive particles.
    • Dual mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces provide superior resistance to abrasion and thermal dry-heating in aggressive duty.
    • Miniature thermal protectors embedded in each winding cause the control panel to shut the power during excessive heat buildup.
    • FKM (FPM) rubber parts for seals and O-rings provide high resistance to aggressive chemical substances and heat.
    • Anti-wicking cable entry block protects the motor housing from moisture incursion caused by capillary action or cable damage.
    • Tsurumi's original Oil Lifter ensures consistent lubrication of the seal faces even if the oil volume falls below rated levels.
