Industrial dewatering and large-scale corrosive wastewater management are the focus of this submersible corrosion-resistant pump. Constructed from 316 stainless steel casting, it is engineered for handling aggressive liquids and water of a corrosive nature in chemical plants, mines, and aggregate processing sites. Its robust metallurgy allows for continuous operation in harsh environments where wastewater pH values are between 3 and 10.
Powered by a 7.5 kW / 415v motor, the pumping system delivers a maximum head of approximately 35 m and a peak flow capacity of approximately 2000 L/Min. This induction motor is continuous-duty rated and utilizes a Direct on Line starting method, with Star-Delta available as a special option. It provides the hydraulic performance required for high-volume transfer through its 80 mm discharge bore.
The hydraulic configuration features a 316 stainless steel casting semi-open multi-vane impeller that facilitates the passage of solids up to 23 mm. This large solids handling capability ensures site debris is displaced through the pump casing during intensive drainage cycles. The pump incorporates a seal pressure relief port to protect the shaft seal by diverting abrasive particles and reducing the hydraulic load on the mechanical seal faces.
Mechanical integrity is supported by dual inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces and an Oil Lifter for lubrication. Protection is enhanced by FKM rubber parts and a circle thermal protector built into the motor housing. The unit utilizes an anti-wicking cable entry to protect the motor from moisture, while the 316 stainless steel casting frame and shaft provide the structural strength required for heavy-duty service.
