Industrial drainage often requires high-capacity solids passage to manage raw sewage and stormwater runoff. The pump operates in municipal projects, wastewater treatment plants, and industrial equalization basins. It transfers sewage, sludge, and fibrous materials without blockages, serving as a key component in drainage systems.

A 2.2 kW Three-phase induction motor powers the hydraulic system, running on a 415 V electrical supply. With a rated current of 4.8 Amps, this dry-type motor provides the necessary torque for continuous operation. The hydraulic performance delivers a maximum head of Approximately 19 m and a maximum flow rate of Approximately 810 L/Min, ensuring rapid water clearance.

A recessed vortex impeller, dynamically balanced and made of cast iron, is utilized within the wide pump casing. The pump features a large 56mm solids passage, enabling large-sized solid matters to be discharged with minimal contact with the impeller. This centrifugal action reduces clogging and prevents fibrous solids from winding around the motor shaft.

Constructed with a robust cast iron casing and a 420 stainless steel shaft, the pump is built for heavy-duty service. It contains a double-face mechanical seal in an oil chamber, with a ceramic upper face and a silicon carbide lower face.

    FEATURES

    • Watertight entry prevents capillary water ingress into the motor conductors.
    • Forcibly supplies turbine oil to seal faces, ensuring cooling even if oil volume drops, preventing dry run mechanical seal failure.
    • Silicon carbide lower faces run in oil to ensure reliable shaft sealing.
    • Stainless steel shaft resists rotational fatigue and mechanical stresses.
    • Built-in thermal protector directly cuts the circuit during overcurrent.
    • Recessed design creates a whirlpool flow to handle sewage without clogging or winding of fibrous materials.
