Continuous sewage handling demands heavy-duty pumping equipment to process raw wastewater in municipal projects. This high-capacity vortex pump is used in municipal sewage treatment plants, industrial factories, and deep drainage basins. It pumps unscreened municipal wastewater, sewage effluents, and rainwater containing solids.

The unit features a powerful 3.7 kW induction motor designed for a Three-phase, 415 V power supply. Drawing a rated current of 7.5 Amps, the dry-type motor operates continuously under high load. The pump delivers a maximum head of Approximately 23.5 m and a maximum flow rate of Approximately 1050 L/Min, providing high-pressure water discharge.

The hydraulic mechanism uses a cast iron vortex impeller positioned at the top of the wide volute casing. With a solids passage of 56mm, rotation of the impeller generates a vortex flow that carries large solids and long fibers out of the pump without clogging. This reduces maintenance requirements and maintains hydraulic efficiency.

The mechanical assembly includes a cast iron body, 420 stainless steel shaft, and permanently lubricated C3 bearings. The dual mechanical seal runs in an oil chamber with ceramic and silicon carbide faces. Motor safety is managed by a built-in circle thermal protector that cuts the power supply if temperatures exceed safe limits.

    FEATURES

    • Double-shielded bearings support continuous shaft loads and smooth rotation.
    • Forcibly supplies turbine oil to seal faces, ensuring cooling even if oil volume drops, preventing dry run mechanical seal failure.
    • Watertight entry prevents capillary water ingress into the motor conductors.
    • Built-in thermal protector directly cuts the circuit during overcurrent.
    • Stainless steel shaft resists rotational fatigue and mechanical stresses.
    • Silicon carbide lower faces run in oil to ensure reliable shaft sealing.
