Continuous sewage handling demands heavy-duty 4-pole pumps to process municipal and industrial wastewater. The pump operates in municipal lifting stations, equalization basins, and factory drainage systems. It transfers raw sewage, heavy industrial effluents, and rainwater runoff containing large suspended solids and grit.

The electrical motor is a 5.5 kW, Three-phase induction model designed for a standard 415 V supply. Drawing standard electrical currents, the 4-pole motor runs at 1500 rpm for long-term continuous service. The hydraulic performance reaches a maximum head of Approximately 15 m and a maximum flow rate of Approximately 1860 L/Min.

A recessed vortex impeller, dynamically balanced and made of cast iron, is utilized within the wide pump casing. It provides an 80mm solids passage, allowing large solid matters equivalent to the discharge bore to pass through the casing with minimal impeller contact. This minimizes wear on the hydraulic parts and prevents clogs.

The structure consists of a cast iron pump body, a stainless steel shaft, and permanently lubricated bearings. A dual mechanical seal runs in an oil chamber with silicon carbide faces. Winding protection is provided by miniature thermal protectors embedded in the windings that signal the control panel. It operates up to 40°C and fits TOS guide rails.

    FEATURES

    • High-quality C3 double-shielded bearings support radial and axial loads.
    • Cast iron design produces a whirlpool flow to pass large solids without clogs, reducing maintenance requirements.
    • Stainless steel shaft transmits full-load motor torque with high rigidity.
    • Integrated protector directly cuts the circuit during thermal overload.
    • Forcibly supplies turbine oil to the shaft seal, preventing dry-running damage.
    • Resides in oil chamber with silicon carbide faces to resist abrasive wear.
