Suitable for pumping abrasive slurry and sand-laden water in wastewater treatment plants and industrial facilities. The side discharge casing is configured for use with fixed discharge piping in permanent sump installations for the removal of thick sediment. This arrangement is utilized where reliable slurry management is required for long-term facility maintenance.

The pump uses an 11 kW 415v three-phase motor to provide a maximum flow of up to 3250 L/Min and a maximum head of up to 19.3 m. It maintains discharge through a 100 mm bore for media containing a maximum dry matter content of 25%. The 4-pole motor provides the operating speed required for consistent hydraulic performance in abrasive conditions.

The hydraulic design includes a high-chromium cast iron agitator that prevents material from compacting around the suction opening. Its spiral side discharge path allows for the transport of solids up to 30 mm while protecting the pump housing from internal wear. By streamlining the flow, the casing reduces internal friction during the passage of abrasive solids.

High-chromium cast iron wear components, including the impeller and suction plate, provide abrasion resistance in sandy fluids. A cooling jacket surrounding the motor housing allows the unit to operate in air during fluctuating sump levels. High-temperature variants for fluids up to 80°C and optional 1000V motor windings are available for specialized industrial service.

    FEATURES

    • Agitator stirring action suspends settled material to ensure smooth suction and prevent intake clogs.
    • Spiral side discharge arrangement reduces hydraulic turbulence to minimize wear on the pump housing.
    • Cooling jacket surrounding the motor enables continuous operation when the liquid level drops.
    • Impeller and suction plate are cast from high-chromium iron for increased resistance to abrasive erosion.
    • Direct-on-Line (D.O.L.) starting method ensures reliable commissioning in industrial power grids.
    • Side discharge casing design is compatible with professional guide rail systems for easier serviceability.
    • 4-pole motor design delivers the starting torque necessary for moving settled, high-viscosity slurries.
    • Suitable for abrasive media handling across a wide pH range of 5 to 9 in industrial wastewater duty.
