This submersible slurry pump is intended for abrasive slurry handling in iron works, ready-mixed concrete plants and similar industrial applications. The side discharge construction and agitator enable efficient removal of settled solids from pits, tanks and sumps. It is used where heavy sediment accumulation requires constant agitation for effective removal under abrasive loads.

A 37 kW 415v motor drives the pump to a maximum head of up to 24 m and a maximum flow of up to 9000 L/Min. It maintains throughput for thick slurries with up to 25% dry matter through its 150 mm discharge bore. The 6-pole motor provides the operating speed required to reduce hydraulic wear while maintaining the torque necessary for heavy media.

The hydraulic design features a high-chromium cast iron agitator that keeps solids suspended to promote continuous suction at the pump base. A spiral casing design optimizes hydraulic flow for the movement of solids up to 46 mm while protecting the housing from internal wear. This streamlines the flow path and reduces localized impact from high-velocity abrasive particles.

Durability is supported by an electrode-type leakage sensor in the oil chamber and high-chromium cast iron wear components. A motor cooling jacket stabilizes operating temperature when the unit is exposed to air due to sump drawdown. Starting is managed via a Star-Delta method, and the pump features high-grade Class F insulation for industrial duty.

    FEATURES

    • Low-speed 6-pole motor design is intentionally selected to reduce hydraulic wear and extend service life.
    • Extra-large high-chromium agitator stir solids into a slurry to ensure continuous intake and suction.
    • Spiral side discharge casing optimizes solids passage up to 46 mm while reducing internal friction.
    • Motor cooling jacket enables heat dissipation directly to the liquid for operation in fluctuating levels.
    • Electrode-type leakage sensor in the oil chamber provides early warning of mechanical seal failure.
    • Impeller and suction plate are cast from high-chromium iron for increased resistance to abrasive erosion.
    • Star-Delta starting method ensures controlled electrical startup for the 37 kW industrial motor.
    • Side discharge design is compatible with guide rail fitting systems for easier pump serviceability.
