Tsurumi GSZ10150 Cast Iron High-Capacity Drainage Pump for Large-Scale Dewatering with Closed Impeller

Designed for extreme-duty dewatering in the world's largest mining and civil engineering projects. The 250 mm side discharge configuration is built for permanent, high-capacity drainage infrastructure requiring continuous duty over significant vertical elevations. This construction is used for large-scale water management where site drawdown is a primary logistical requirement.

A 150 kW 415v motor drives the pump to a maximum head of up to 54.5 m and a peak flow of up to 18000 L/Min. This performance is capable of moving huge quantities of drainage water with up to 15% dry matter across vast site distances. The 4-pole motor delivers the hydraulic power required for the most demanding discharge cycles in harsh runoff conditions.

The hydraulic assembly features a spiral side discharge casing that streamlines internal flow for solids up to 25 mm. This geometry minimizes internal wear from the impact of high-velocity abrasive particles within the housing while maintains discharge efficiency. By reducing recirculation and hydraulic losses, the design provides stability during extreme-volume discharge.

For protection, an electrode-type leakage sensor is located in the oil chamber, and a motor cooling jacket around the housing facilitates heat dissipation. Seal pressure relief ports protect the mechanical seal faces from extreme internal hydraulic forces during high-head operation. Construction includes a heavy-duty cast iron body and a Star-Delta starting method.
