Recommended for large-volume abrasive slurry handling in mining facilities and industrial plants. This submersible slurry pump is suitable for moving dense sand and sediment over moderate vertical distances. The side discharge spiral design is built for integration into fixed-piping slurry transport systems where reliable service and reduced maintenance intervals are required.
A 37 kW 415v motor drives the pump to a maximum flow of up to 10500 L/Min and a maximum head of up to 27.5 m through a 200 mm discharge bore. The 6-pole motor configuration provides the hydraulic torque needed for thick media with up to 15% dry matter at lower operating speeds. This lower speed reduces the erosion rates of the internal hydraulic components when pumping abrasive mixtures.
The hydraulic system is designed for coarse solids up to 50 mm using a spiral casing that streamlines internal flow and reduces recirculation. Paired with the 6-pole motor, this design improves solids transport and lowers internal wear from the impact of abrasive particles within the pump housing. This facilitates efficient throughput during high-capacity slurry handling cycles.
Durability is supported by a heavy-duty cast iron body and a cooling jacket surrounding the motor for heat dissipation during fluctuating liquid levels. This allows for continuous operation when the unit is exposed to air without thermal shutdown. The pump utilizes high-grade Class F insulation and a Star-Delta starting method to ensure industrial duty in abrasive conditions.
