For persistent slurry suspension, the KRD611 utilizes liquid handling is managed by a high-chromium cast iron semi-open impeller and an agitator mounted directly on the motor shaft extension. This agitating mechanism forcibly suspends sand, mud, and heavy sediments to assist smooth suction and transfer. The robust wear components are designed to withstand abrasive action from silt.
Its rugged design is suitable for continuous running with its motor exposed to air due to the top discharge, side flow cooling configuration. The pump features dual inside silicon carbide mechanical seals operating in an isolated oil chamber with an Oil Lifter. An automatic circle thermal protector is embedded in the motor windings to prevent overheating, while an anti-wicking cable block seals the electrical entry.
