For high-volume civil engineering drainage, the Tsurumi KRS67.5 is suitable for large-volume dewatering on construction sites and civil engineering projects. This 4-pole cast iron pump operates in sumps containing slightly silty water. It is designed for drainage applications in tough environments.

The pump is driven by a three-phase motor with a rated output of approximately 7.5 kW, achieving a maximum flow rate of approximately 4,200 L/Min and a maximum head of approximately 15.0 m. A discharge outlet of approximately 150 mm is used to connect standard site hosing.

The KRS67.5 drainage pump utilizes the pump features a ductile cast iron semi-open impeller designed to resist abrasive wear from suspended sand and aggregate. This semi-open design maintains its operational balance and dewatering performance over long running periods. It supports the smooth passage of minor sand and sediment deposits.

The mechanical construction comprises a heavy gray cast iron casing and motor frame. A dry-type induction motor includes an automatic circle thermal protector that reacts to overcurrent or high motor heat. Double silicon carbide mechanical seals are located in an isolated oil chamber containing a turbine oil lubricant and the Tsurumi-patented Oil Lifter. Capillary water ingress is prevented by an anti-wicking cable entry block.

    FEATURES

    • Features a heavy gray cast iron casing and motor frame provide high durability for site dewatering.
    • Incorporates a ductile cast iron semi-open impeller offers wear resistance against abrasive sand.
    • Utilizes a low-speed 4-pole motor running at 1500 rpm reduces wear and extends service life.
    • Designed with a top discharge, side flow layout maintains cooling when operating exposed to air.
    • Equipped with a dual inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces housed in turbine oil.
    • Includes a anti-wicking cable connection block stops capillary moisture ingress into motor windings.
    • Uses a patented Oil Lifter delivers continuous lubrication and cooling down to one-third oil level. Heavy-duty construction provides long-lasting service life.
