The low-speed 4-pole Tsurumi KRS89.0 is designed for heavy-duty dewatering in mining and quarry operations. It is suitable for high-volume drainage of water containing light sediment. This unit operates continuously in deep pits where power consumption must be kept low.
With an electric motor rated at approximately 9.0 kW, the pump generates a maximum flow capacity of approximately 5300 L/Min and achieves a maximum head of approximately 15.0 m. The discharge connection has an approximately 200 mm bore diameter to support continuous water evacuation.
The KRS89.0 energy-saving model utilizes to optimize efficiency at lower heads, the pump incorporates a ductile cast iron semi-open impeller. This configuration assists with the passage of suspended sand and mud while minimizing energy draw. The hydraulic flow path is designed for durability under abrasive drainage duties.
This cast iron submersible pump features a top discharge, side flow cooling layout to protect the motor during dry running. The shaft seal consists of a dual inside mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces operating within an isolated oil chamber. An automatic circle thermal protector cuts the motor circuit under excessive load, and an anti-wicking cable connection seals the motor from moisture.
