    Pairs well with

Specifically built for sewer bypass applications, the Tsurumi KRSU822 is designed for sewage bypass in sewer renewal work and provisional rainwater drainage. This pump operates in deep manholes and confined spaces where sewage containing fibrous solids must be bypassed. It is suitable for flood countermeasures.

Performance measurements for this unit include a maximum head of approximately 26.5 m paired with a maximum flow capacity of approximately 5750 L/Min. The electric motor delivers approximately 22.0 kW of continuous-duty power through an approximately 200 mm outlet to handle demanding water transfer duties.

Bypassing sewage effectively, the KRSU822 utilizes the hydraulic configuration features a ductile cast iron semi-vortex impeller designed to handle municipal sewage without clogging. This semi-vortex structure provides a large solids passage measuring approximately 56 mm in diameter. It is suitable for transferring fibrous materials and solids without restriction.

Its rugged design is suitable for continuous running with its motor exposed to air due to the top discharge, side flow cooling configuration. The pump features dual inside silicon carbide mechanical seals operating in an isolated oil chamber with an Oil Lifter. An automatic circle thermal protector is embedded in the motor windings to prevent overheating, while an anti-wicking cable block seals the electrical entry.
