Tsurumi KTV2-37 Aluminium Alloy High-Flow Submersible Drainage Pump for Large Excavations with Vortex Impeller

Large-volume construction drainage is the focus of this pump, which provides reliable displacement of sand-carrying water. It manages drainage water from excavated sites where rapid volume transfer is required. The robust die-casted aluminium alloy body and 80 mm discharge are engineered for continuous service in civil engineering environments.

The pumping system utilizes a vortex impeller made of ductile cast iron with a high-gap structure to facilitate the passage of solids up to 8.5 mm. The flow path assists the movement of abrasive sand-carrying water through the pump. Wear-resistant construction helps maintain reliable operation when handling drainage water and abrasive site debris typical of site runoff.

Powered by a 3.7 kW / 415v motor, the unit achieves a maximum head of 26.5 m and a flow rate of approx 830 L/Min. This hydraulic performance provides stable discharge pressure during site water management. The 2-pole induction motor handles drainage water with up to 10% dry matter across a wide pH range of 5 to 9, ensuring operational stability during drawdown.

Construction includes a double-face mechanical seal isolated in an oil chamber featuring a proprietary Oil Lifter. Structural durability is supported by a top-discharge, side-flow design that provides efficient motor cooling even when the motor is exposed to air. Protection features include an anti-wicking cable entry block and a circle thermal protector built into the motor housing to protect against moisture.
