Civil engineering projects with substantial dewatering requirements will find this portable submersible pump particularly effective. It is designed specifically for moving large volumes of drainage water and sand-carrying water from excavations where rapid water transfer is essential to maintaining progress. The die-casted aluminium alloy body combines durability with portability, facilitating deployment across large construction sites.

Flow capacity reaches up to 980 L/Min, driven by a 5.5 kW / 415v motor that also achieves a maximum head of 35 m. This hydraulic performance provides the pressure required for vertical discharge, enabling water to be lifted and directed away from excavation areas. The motor maintains stable operation in water containing up to 10% dry matter and across a pH range of 5 to 9, making it suitable for chemically variable site drainage.

Solids handling is managed by a high-gap vortex impeller made of ductile cast iron, allowing particles up to 8.5 mm to pass through without blocking the pump. The impeller design promotes efficient movement of abrasive particles through the housing while resisting erosive wear. This configuration ensures sustained pumping efficiency even when handling sand-laden runoff and abrasive site debris during large-scale dewatering operations.

An oil chamber houses a double-face mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces, incorporating the Oil Lifter to ensure consistent lubrication even at low oil levels. Motor cooling is provided by the top-discharge, side-flow design, which maintains thermal stability during extended operation. The anti-wicking cable entry and circle thermal protector provide comprehensive motor protection against moisture and overheating.

    FEATURES

    • High-volume flow capacity up to 980 L/Min facilitates the rapid displacement of drainage water from construction sites.
    • Powerful 5.5 kW motor achieves a 35 m head for vertical lift and deep foundation dewatering tasks.
    • High-gap vortex impeller made of ductile cast iron facilitates the passage of solids up to 8.5 mm.
    • Die-casted aluminium alloy body construction offers a technical advantage in terms of weight reduction and portability.
    • Top-discharge, side-flow design provides efficient motor cooling even when the motor is exposed to air during drawdown.
    • Double-face mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces provides resistance to abrasion and thermal dry-heating.
    • Proprietary Oil Lifter ensures consistent lubrication of the mechanical seal faces even at low oil volumes.
    • Watertight cable entry with an anti-wicking block protects the motor from capillary moisture incursion.
