Automatic construction dewatering is the focus of this energy-saving pump, which incorporates an electrode type relay unit to manage start and stop cycles based on water level. This automatic operation prevents dry-running, reducing power consumption and eliminating the mechanical stress associated with air-exposed pumping. The result is extended operating life and reduced energy costs over the service life of the pump.

A urethane rubber vortex impeller with high-gap geometry enables the passage of abrasive solids up to 8.5 mm, making the pump suitable for sand-carrying drainage duties. The flow path promotes efficient movement of abrasive particles through the pump, while the elastomeric impeller material resists erosive wear. This combination of automatic control and durable hydraulics provides reliable performance during unattended drainage cycles.

Hydraulic performance is delivered by a 0.75 kW / 415v three-phase motor, which achieves a maximum head of 15 m and a flow rate of approx 320 L/Min. These operating characteristics provide stable pumping performance for automatic site water management through the 50 mm discharge. The motor operates reliably in water containing up to 10% dry matter within a pH range of 5 to 9, ensuring compatibility with typical site drainage conditions.

Mechanical integrity is maintained by a double-face mechanical seal isolated in an oil chamber with the Oil Lifter system, while the die-casted aluminium alloy body provides structural support. Motor cooling is achieved through the top-discharge, side-flow design, which remains effective even when the pump is partially exposed to air. An anti-wicking cable entry block and circle thermal protector provide comprehensive protection against moisture ingress and overheating.

    FEATURES

    • Integrated electrode relay enables automatic start/stop operation to reduce power consumption by preventing dry-running.
    • Dry-running prevention extends the operating life by eliminating the mechanical stress of air-pumping cycles.
    • Vortex impeller manufactured from urethane rubber resists the erosive impact of abrasive sand and site debris.
    • Top-discharge, side-flow design provides efficient motor cooling even when the motor is exposed to air during drawdown.
    • Die-casted aluminium alloy body construction offers an advantage in terms of site-to-site portability.
    • Double-face mechanical seal isolated in an oil chamber provides protection against dry-heating and abrasive wear.
    • Patented Oil Lifter ensures consistent lubrication of the mechanical seal faces even if the lubricant level is low.
    • Anti-wicking block within the cable entry protects the motor from capillary water incursion or damaged power cables.
