Automatic operation and reliable drainage are combined in this submersible pump, which uses an electrode type relay unit to control start and stop cycles based on water levels. The automatic control prevents dry-running, extending the operating life while maintaining consistent performance during fluctuating water conditions. This makes the pump particularly suitable for construction sites where water levels vary throughout the dewatering process.

Performance is delivered by a 2.2 kW / 415v three-phase motor, achieving a maximum head of 24 m and a peak flow capacity of approx 525 L/Min. These hydraulic characteristics provide the pumping performance required for automatic foundation dewatering, while the 50 mm discharge accommodates the flow rates demanded by typical site drainage applications. The motor operates reliably in water containing up to 10% dry matter within a pH range of 5 to 9, ensuring compatibility with site conditions.

A ductile cast iron vortex impeller with high-gap geometry handles solids up to 8.5 mm, promoting continuous movement of abrasive media through the pump. This configuration maintains reliable operation when handling sand-carrying water during automatic drainage cycles, resisting the erosive effects of suspended particles. The impeller design works in conjunction with the automatic control system to provide sustained performance throughout the dewatering project.

A double-face mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces is housed in an oil chamber with the Oil Lifter, ensuring reliable sealing even at reduced lubricant volumes. The die-casted aluminium alloy body provides structural support while maintaining portability, and the top-discharge, side-flow design ensures motor cooling when the pump is exposed to air. An anti-wicking cable entry block and circle thermal protector provide comprehensive protection against moisture and overheating.

    FEATURES

    • Innovative electrode relay enables automatic operation, reducing power consumption by automatically preventing dry-running.
    • Dry-running prevention extends the operating life by protecting the pump from air-pumping stress and heat buildup.
    • Ductile cast iron vortex impeller with high-gap geometry facilitates the passage of solids up to 8.5 mm.
    • Die-casted aluminium alloy body construction offers an advantage in terms of weight reduction and site portability.
    • Double-face mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces provides durability against abrasion and chemical corrosion.
    • Tsurumi's patented Oil Lifter ensures consistent lubrication of the mechanical seal faces even if the oil level is low.
    • Watertight cable entry with an anti-wicking block protects the motor from capillary water incursion should the cable be damaged.
    • Optional structural steel probe cover is available to protect electrode sensors from impact in harsh sites.
