Site drainage automation is achieved with this portable submersible pump, which uses an electrode type relay unit to manage pump operation based on water level. The relay automatically starts and stops the pump, preventing dry-running and reducing power consumption while maintaining site drainage during fluctuating water conditions. This mechanism is particularly beneficial for foundation dewatering where maintaining a clear site is essential for construction operations.

Flow performance reaches approx 830 L/Min through an 80 mm discharge, with a maximum head of 26.5 m driven by a 3.7 kW / 415v three-phase motor. These hydraulic characteristics provide the performance required for automatic site drainage, with the motor capable of handling water containing up to 10% dry matter within a pH range of 5 to 9. The system maintains consistent output without operator intervention, supporting efficient site water management.

A ductile cast iron vortex impeller with high-gap geometry handles solids up to 8.5 mm, promoting efficient movement of abrasive particles through the pump. The impeller design resists erosive wear while maintaining pumping efficiency during automatic drainage cycles in sand-laden water. This combination of automatic control and wear-resistant hydraulics ensures sustained performance throughout the dewatering project.

Mechanical integrity is supported by an oil chamber containing a double-face mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces, incorporating the Oil Lifter for consistent lubrication. The die-casted aluminium alloy body provides structural support with reduced weight for easy relocation, while the top-discharge, side-flow design ensures effective motor cooling during extended operation. Protection is provided by an anti-wicking cable entry block and a circle thermal protector integrated into the motor housing.

    FEATURES

    • Large 80 mm discharge bore and automatic control relay enable rapid construction drainage and water transfer.
    • Electrode control relay reduces power consumption by automatically preventing dry-running and protecting the motor.
    • Ductile cast iron vortex impeller with high-gap geometry facilitates the passage of solids up to 8.5 mm.
    • Die-casted aluminium alloy body construction significantly reduces weight to simplify site-to-site relocation.
    • Double-face mechanical seal with silicon carbide faces provides protection against dry-heating and abrasive wear.
    • Proprietary Oil Lifter maintains consistent lubrication of the mechanical seal faces even if lubricant falls below rated levels.
    • Top-discharge, side-flow design provides efficient motor cooling even when the motor is exposed to air during drawdown.
    • Anti-wicking cable entry block protects the motor from capillary water incursion should the power cable be damaged.
