    Pairs well with

Excavation contractors frequently encounter challenging dewatering conditions where sand-carrying water and stormwater must be removed from foundation pits. This flagship submersible pump is optimized for these environments, providing reliable water management under demanding site conditions. The slim design is intentionally configured for placement in confined pits, offering convenience and reliability for semi-permanent site water control.

Powered by a 1.5 kW / 415v three-phase motor, the unit offers up to approximately 670 L/Min flow and up to approximately 14.4 m of head through an 80 mm bore. This performance is tuned for high-volume displacement over moderate elevations, providing consistent vertical lift and stable volume for site water control. The system handles drainage fluids with up to 10% dry matter across a pH range of 5 to 9.

Hydraulic efficiency is maintained by a high-chromium cast iron semi-open impeller that resists erosive wear to preserve its original performance profile. It maintains uninterrupted movement for solids up to 8.5 mm, facilitating the discharge of abrasive solids without risk of internal blockages. This design streamlines the internal flow to protect the cast iron pump housing from the localized impact of abrasive particles during discharge.

Dual inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces are isolated in an oil chamber for maximum protection. A top discharge, side flow design ensures efficient motor cooling during periods of air-exposed operation or fluctuating site water levels. A gray cast iron body and anti-wicking cable entry prevent internal moisture ingress should the power cable be damaged.

    FEATURES

    • High-chromium cast iron semi-open impeller provides superior abrasion resistance compared to standard ductile iron.
    • Top discharge, side flow design ensures the motor remains cooled even when running in air during drawdown.
    • Selectable discharge direction allows for vertical or inclined alignment to simplify hose management on site.
    • Dual silicon carbide mechanical seals offer five times higher corrosion and heat resistance than tungsten carbide.
    • Tsurumi's original Oil Lifter maintains seal lubrication even down to one-third of the normal oil level.
    • Anti-wicking cable block protects the motor from capillary water incursion through the electrical cable.
    • Built-in circle thermal protector guards the induction motor against overcurrent and excessive heat build-up.
    • Slim body design and selectable discharge orientation simplify pump placement in restricted foundation pits.
