Quarrying and construction site operations often require large-volume displacement of stormwater and sand-laden drainage water from excavated pits. This submersible drainage pump is engineered for these demanding conditions, where reliability is paramount to maintaining progress. The slim cylindrical design and robust cast iron construction ensure continuous duty in challenging civil engineering environments.

Driven by a 3.7 kW / 415v three-phase motor, the unit is capable of up to approximately 1440 L/Min flow and up to approximately 18 m of head through its 100 mm discharge bore. This performance is tuned for high-capacity displacement over moderate vertical distances, making it suitable for rapid excavation site drawdown. The system handles drainage fluids with up to 10% dry matter within a pH range of 5 to 9.

Wear resistance comes from a high-chromium cast iron semi-open impeller that resists the erosive force of high-velocity abrasive particles. The pump facilitates the passage of solids up to 8.5 mm, ensuring that site water is displaced effectively through the side flow casing without performance drop-off. Streamlining the internal flow path protects the cast iron housing from localized wear during high-volume discharge cycles.

Dual inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces and Tsurumi's original Oil Lifter provide reliable shaft sealing. A top discharge design enables efficient motor cooling when operating partially exposed. Protection features include an anti-wicking cable entry block and a circle thermal protector to guard against thermal stress and water incursion.
