Deep excavation dewatering in civil engineering and mining projects requires hydraulic power capable of moving large quantities of stormwater and sand-laden drainage water. This submersible pump provides the necessary performance where system reliability is critical to site safety. The robust mechanical construction and slim design allow it to withstand demanding conditions while fitting into restricted areas.

Powered by a 5.5 kW / 415v motor, the unit delivers up to approximately 22.5 m of head and up to approximately 1740 L/Min flow through a 100 mm discharge. The combination provides powerful horizontal transfer and stable vertical lift for site water control. The 2-pole motor operates reliably in drainage water with up to 10% dry matter across a wide pH range of 5 to 9.

Pumping performance is supported by a high-chromium cast iron semi-open impeller that minimizes performance loss over time when pumping abrasive site debris. It maintains uninterrupted movement for solids up to 8.5 mm, facilitating effective solids transport through the side flow casing. This design protects the cast iron body from localized abrasive wear, which is typical of high-volume sand-heavy discharge applications.

Dual silicon carbide mechanical seals are isolated in an oil chamber featuring Tsurumi's patented Oil Lifter for enhanced protection. An integrated cooling path around the motor housing facilitates efficient heat dissipation, allowing for continuous operation during partially exposed conditions. Protection features include an anti-wicking cable entry block and a circle thermal protector to guard against moisture and thermal overload.

    FEATURES

    • High-volume 1740 L/Min throughput ensures rapid displacement of site water in large-scale excavations.
    • High-chromium cast iron semi-open impeller provides extreme resistance to erosive wear in abrasive site runoff.
    • Top discharge, side flow configuration enables continuous duty even when operating exposed to air.
    • Dual silicon carbide mechanical seals provide ultimate durability against abrasion and chemical corrosion.
    • Patented Oil Lifter ensures consistent lubrication of mechanical seal faces even if the oil level is low.
    • Anti-wicking cable entry proactively guards against motor damage from capillary water incursion or damaged cables.
    • Built-in circle thermal protector automatically interrupts the circuit during thermal stress or electrical overload.
    • Optional high-temperature variants allow for the management of aggressive site liquids up to 80°C.
