The Tsurumi LB-480A is a compact automatic submersible drainage pump designed for construction dewatering, site drainage and general water transfer applications. Built with a durable synthetic rubber pump casing and abrasion-resistant components, the unit is engineered to perform reliably in harsh environments including sand-laden water and temporary drainage conditions.
Powered by a 0.48kW single phase motor, the LB-480A features a semi vortex impeller that allows suspended solids and debris to pass through while maintaining stable pumping performance. The top discharge design enhances motor cooling efficiency, enabling continuous operation even at low water levels and improving reliability during extended use.
This automatic model incorporates an electrode-type water level sensor that starts and stops the pump depending on water presence, preventing dry running and reducing energy consumption. A double mechanical seal operating in an oil bath provides superior protection against water ingress and significantly extends service life in demanding applications.
Compact and lightweight, the pump can be easily transported and installed in narrow pits, trenches or confined spaces. It is ideal for construction sites, basement drainage, stormwater removal and emergency dewatering tasks.
