Flooded foundation trenches can bring construction to a grinding halt, costing valuable time and resources. The Tsurumi LH322W is built to aggressively counter severe water accumulation, restoring dry working conditions rapidly. Its immense power output is tailored for the most demanding civil engineering challenges where failure is not an option.

Operating on a 415 V three-phase supply, this powerhouse utilizes a 22 kW motor drawing 38 Amps. The resulting performance is staggering, delivering a maximum head of 102 m and a peak flow rate of 950 L/Min. This allows the pump to forcefully eject large quantities of water out of exceptionally deep pits and shafts.

The internal hydraulics rely on a dual closed impeller system, meticulously cast from high-chromium iron to withstand the scouring effect of 8.5mm solids. The flow-through, top-discharge design is critical here, as the high volume of moving water actively dissipates the significant heat generated by the 22 kW motor, ensuring thermal stability.

Structurally, the pump is a fortress of cast iron, weighing 304 kg. The 420 stainless steel shaft is kept in precise alignment by upper deep-groove bearings and lower duplex angular contact bearings. A double-face mechanical seal, protected by a 304 stainless steel labyrinth ring, ensures the motor remains completely isolated from the punishing external environment.

    FEATURES

    • Engineered specifically to overcome extreme vertical distances in deep construction and mining applications.
    • Combines upper C3 ball bearings with lower duplex angular contact bearings to handle immense rotational forces.
    • Provides a robust physical barrier that shields the mechanical seal from high-velocity abrasive particles.
    • Offers superior cathodic protection against electrical corrosion, preserving the structural integrity of the pump body.
    • Prevents water ingress through the power cable via capillary action, safeguarding the motor's electrical systems.
    • Utilizes the discharged water to actively cool the motor housing, permitting extended operation at low water levels.
