    Pairs well with

Handling aggressive and corrosive liquids in demanding mining, aggregate, and construction environments is the primary function of this submersible pump. The slim, cylindrical body is engineered for installation in well casings for deep well dewatering. Its metallurgy allows for reliable operation in fluids with a pH range between 3 and 10, including acidic mine runoff.

Hydraulic performance is delivered by a 22 kW / 415v three-phase motor that operates at 2-pole synchronous speeds. This system achieves a maximum head of 66 m and a peak flow capacity of 2400 L/Min through a 100 mm discharge bore. The induction motor is continuous-duty rated and utilizes a Direct on Line starting method to maintain stable discharge pressure during intensive site drawdown.

The pumping system features a closed impeller design manufactured from 316 stainless steel casting (SCS14) to resist erosive wear from abrasive substances. A 6 mm solids passage ensures that site debris in suspension is moved through the pump casing effectively. The top discharge, flow-thru design ensures efficient motor cooling by utilizing the pumped liquid, even during operation at low water levels.

Mechanical integrity is supported by dual inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces, isolated in an oil chamber with Tsurumi's original Oil Lifter. All wetted parts, including the casing, frame, and shaft, are constructed from 316 stainless steel casting for superior corrosion resistance. Protection is enhanced by seal pressure relief ports that protect the shaft seal from pump pressure, while FKM rubber components provide chemical resistance.

    FEATURES

    • Principal wetted components are manufactured from 316 stainless steel casting for extreme durability in acidic and corrosive fluids.
    • Dual inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces offer five times higher heat and wear resistance than tungsten carbide.
    • Integrated seal pressure relief ports prevent high pumping pressure from applying force to the mechanical seal faces.
    • Top discharge, flow-thru design provides efficient motor cooling to facilitate continuous operation at low water levels.
    • Shaft-mounted labyrinth ring provides a countermeasure against wear caused by high pressure generated within the casing.
    • Patented Oil Lifter ensures consistent lubrication of the mechanical seal even if the lubricant level falls to one-third of the normal volume.
    • Replaceable galvanic anodes made of aluminium alloy protect the pump body against corrosive potential in wastewater.
    • Watertight cable entry with an anti-wicking block prevents moisture incursion due to capillary action or cable damage.
