Mining and aggregate environments requiring large-volume dewatering are the focus of this 37 kW / 415v submersible pump. The 200 mm discharge bore facilitates a high flow capacity of 5375 L/Min, while the 2-pole motor achieves a maximum head of 51.8 m. Utilizing a Star-Delta starting method, the pumping system provides stable hydraulic output for managing vast quantities of corrosive site water.

Reliable operation in aggressive and corrosive liquids is ensured by the use of 316 stainless steel casting (SCS14) for all principal wetted parts, including the impeller and casing. The pump is designed for handling liquids with a pH range of 3 to 10, making it suitable for wastewater treatment and chemical plants. The slim cylindrical profile enables installation in well casings, supporting large-scale deep well dewatering projects.

The hydraulic configuration incorporates a closed impeller manufactured from 316 stainless steel casting (SCS14) with a 20 mm solids passage. This design allows for the passage of significant site debris without obstructing the pumping system. The flow path is engineered as a top discharge, flow-thru arrangement, which maximizes cooling efficiency by directing the pumped liquid over the motor housing to prevent thermal stress.

Construction features include dual inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces and a 316 stainless steel shaft. Protection is reinforced by seal pressure relief ports that divert pumping pressure away from the mechanical seal faces. The unit utilizes special FKM rubber parts and is equipped with a labyrinth ring to enhance durability against the high pressures generated within the casing during heavy-duty service.

    FEATURES

    • High-volume 5375 L/Min flow capacity and 200 mm discharge facilitate rapid water transfer for large excavations.
    • Closed impeller design with 20 mm solids passage ensures efficient movement of large particles in suspension.
    • 316 stainless steel casting (SCS14) provides superior corrosion resistance for all components exposed to the liquid.
    • Dual inside mechanical seals are isolated in an oil chamber to ensure a clean, abrasion-free lubricating environment.
    • Tsurumi's original Oil Lifter provides lubrication down to one-third of the normal oil level to prolong shaft seal life.
    • Labyrinth ring construction provides a high-pressure countermeasure to maintain internal integrity against abrasive wear.
    • Anti-wicking cable entry prevents water incursion into the motor housing should the cable sheath be damaged or submerged.
    • Integrated galvanic anodes provide cathodic protection, extending the service life of the pump in corrosive site fluids.
