    Pairs well with

Settled sludge and thick mud can quickly clog standard pumps, bringing industrial processes to a messy halt. The Tsurumi NKZ32.2 is specifically engineered to agitate and extract these heavy, viscous materials, keeping your operations running smoothly. Its robust slurry-handling capabilities make it an essential tool for maintaining clear sumps and wash-down areas.

This three-phase unit is powered by a reliable 2.2 kW, 4-pole motor operating at 415 V and drawing 5.5 Amps. It provides a maximum head of 12.5 m and a maximum flow of 900 L/Min. The slower 4-pole motor speed is intentionally designed to reduce wear on internal components when pumping highly abrasive fluids, ensuring long-term durability.

The defining feature of this pump is its ductile cast iron agitator, which aggressively breaks up settled solids and forces them into suspension for smooth suction. The semi-open impeller, also made of ductile cast iron, easily passes 30mm solids. The side discharge, spiral casing design facilitates the unobstructed passage of these thick, muddy mixtures.

Weighing 102 kg, the cast iron construction is built to endure. A unique water jacket surrounds the motor frame, utilizing the pumped liquid to cool the motor, which allows for continuous operation even when the pump is partially exposed to air. Dual inside silicon carbide seals and an OIL LIFTER provide superior protection for the motor shaft.

    FEATURES

    • Actively churns settled sludge and mud, creating a fluid suspension that prevents clogging and ensures smooth intake.
    • Circulates pumped liquid around the motor housing, enabling safe, continuous operation even during dry-run conditions.
    • Engineered to provide a wide, unobstructed path for thick slurries and 30mm solids to exit the pump efficiently.
    • Operates at a lower RPM to significantly reduce the abrasive wear caused by pumping sand and gravel mixtures.
    • Silicon carbide mechanical seals are isolated in an oil chamber to provide maximum resistance against abrasive damage.
    • Simple and robust starting method paired with a built-in Circle Thermal Protector to prevent electrical overloads.
