Accumulated sediment and dense slurries in treatment facilities demand specialized equipment to prevent system blockages. The Tsurumi NKZ33.7 is a heavy-duty solution designed to forcefully suspend and remove stubborn solids, ensuring continuous fluid processing. Its agitator-assisted intake makes it indispensable for maintaining optimal flow in challenging environments.

Operating on a 415 V three-phase supply, this pump utilizes a 3.7 kW, 4-pole motor that draws 8.4 Amps. It achieves a maximum flow rate of 1500 L/Min and a maximum head of 16.5 m. The high-torque 4-pole design provides the necessary rotational force to agitate heavy sludge while minimizing internal abrasion compared to faster 2-pole motors.

Fluid dynamics are expertly managed by a ductile cast iron agitator that fluidizes settled debris, feeding it directly into the semi-open ductile cast iron impeller. This system effortlessly processes solids up to 30mm in diameter. The spiral casing and side discharge configuration further enhance the smooth, uninterrupted evacuation of thick slurries.

The 107 kg cast iron body is exceptionally durable and features a specialized water jacket. This jacket routes a portion of the pumped liquid around the motor, providing superior cooling and allowing the pump to operate continuously even when exposed to air. The motor is fully protected by dual silicon carbide mechanical seals and a Circle Thermal Protector.

    FEATURES

    • Fluidizes packed sediment at the intake, transforming solid waste into a pumpable slurry to prevent blockages.
    • Actively cools the motor using the discharged fluid, permitting extended operation at extremely low water levels.
    • Delivers powerful rotational force at lower speeds, reducing the erosive impact of abrasive particles on internal parts.
    • The semi-open impeller and spiral casing are specifically designed to pass large, heavy debris without jamming.
    • Forcibly lubricates the dual mechanical seals, ensuring a stable, watertight barrier even during harsh operation.
    • Provides a secure, flexible connection point for heavy-duty slurry hoses, simplifying installation in rugged environments.
