    Pairs well with

Underground mining operations frequently encounter highly abrasive, sand-laden water that destroys standard drainage equipment. The Tsurumi NKZ411 is a heavy-duty slurry pump specifically upgraded to withstand the extreme wear of mineral extraction processes. Its combination of high power and abrasion-resistant materials ensures reliable dewatering in the most unforgiving environments.

Driven by a powerful 11 kW, 4-pole motor on a 415 V three-phase supply, this pump draws 22.5 Amps. It delivers exceptional performance with a maximum flow rate of 2430 L/Min and a maximum head of 28 m. This immense output, combined with the high torque of the 4-pole motor, allows it to effortlessly transport massive volumes of heavy mining slurry.

To combat severe abrasion, this model features a semi-open impeller cast from high-chromium iron. A ductile cast iron agitator vigorously suspends settled sand and mud, feeding it through the 20mm solids passage. The 100mm side discharge and spiral casing provide a wide, smooth exit path, minimizing internal friction and wear.

Weighing a substantial 217 kg, the cast iron body is a fortress of durability. It includes a motor cooling water jacket that allows for safe, continuous operation even when the pump is drawing air. The mechanical integrity is maintained by dual inside SiC seals, an OIL LIFTER, and a built-in Circle Thermal Protector.

    FEATURES

    • The semi-open impeller is cast from premium high-chromium iron to survive the severe abrasion of mining slurries.
    • Powered by an 11 kW motor to rapidly evacuate huge volumes of water, sand, and mud from deep excavations.
    • Vigorously breaks up settled minerals and sediment, creating a pumpable suspension that prevents intake blockages.
    • Circulates fluid around the motor frame, enabling continuous, safe operation even during extended dry-run periods.
    • Housed in a clean oil chamber to provide the ultimate watertight barrier against harsh, abrasive environments.
    • The side discharge casing is engineered to facilitate the smooth, low-friction passage of thick, solid-laden fluids.
