    Pairs well with

Wash-down areas and sumps in quarrying operations rapidly fill with dense, rock-dust sludge that chokes conventional pumps. The Tsurumi NKZ43.7 is specifically designed to aggressively agitate and evacuate these heavy sediment loads, preventing operational bottlenecks. Its rugged construction ensures reliable performance in the harshest mineral processing environments.

Operating on a 415 V three-phase supply, this unit features a 3.7 kW, 4-pole motor drawing 8.4 Amps. It delivers a maximum flow rate of 1500 L/Min and a maximum head of 16.5 m. The 4-pole motor configuration is crucial here, as its lower rotational speed significantly mitigates the erosive wear caused by pumping abrasive stone dust and grit.

The intake process is supercharged by a ductile cast iron agitator that fluidizes settled quarry sludge, feeding it into the ductile cast iron semi-open impeller. With a 30mm solids passage and a larger 100mm discharge, this pump effortlessly moves high volumes of thick, rocky slurry through its side discharge spiral casing without clogging.

The 104 kg cast iron pump body is built to survive extreme conditions. It features a built-in water jacket that circulates fluid around the motor, guaranteeing efficient cooling even when the water level drops below the motor housing. Dual inside mechanical seals and a Circle Thermal Protector provide comprehensive defense against mechanical and electrical failures.

    FEATURES

    • Facilitates the rapid evacuation of high-volume slurries and 30mm solids, preventing bottlenecks in the casing.
    • Vigorously churns settled rock dust and sludge into a pumpable fluid, ensuring continuous, jam-free operation.
    • Routes discharged water around the motor frame, allowing the pump to run safely even when partially exposed to air.
    • Delivers high torque at lower speeds, dramatically reducing the internal wear caused by abrasive quarry fluids.
    • Continuously supplies lubricating oil to the upper and lower seal faces, maintaining a perfect seal under severe conditions.
    • Provides a straightforward, reliable starting mechanism, backed by an integrated thermal protector to prevent motor burnout.
