    Pairs well with

Industrial scale metal processing generates incredibly dense, abrasive scale and sludge that demands specialized extraction equipment. The Tsurumi NKZ45.5 is a heavy-duty powerhouse engineered to fluidize and remove these challenging industrial byproducts, keeping your sumps clear. Its high-torque performance is essential for maintaining continuous operations in steel and iron facilities.

This robust three-phase pump utilizes a 5.5 kW, 4-pole motor operating at 415 V and drawing 11.7 Amps. It achieves an impressive maximum flow of 2000 L/Min and a maximum head of 18 m. The combination of a 100mm discharge and a high-torque 4-pole motor allows it to move massive volumes of heavy, metallic slurry with ease.

At the intake, a powerful ductile cast iron agitator breaks down compacted industrial scale, forcing it into suspension. The fluid is then drawn through a ductile cast iron semi-open impeller capable of passing 30mm solids. The spiral side-discharge casing ensures that these thick, abrasive mixtures exit the pump with minimal internal friction.

Constructed from 129 kg of solid cast iron, this pump is designed for brutal industrial environments. A unique water jacket design circulates pumped liquid to cool the motor, permitting continuous operation even during dry-run scenarios. The shaft is secured by dual silicon carbide mechanical seals, protected by Tsurumi's reliable OIL LIFTER system.

    FEATURES

    • Paired with a 100mm discharge to rapidly clear large quantities of dense, industrial sludge and metallic scale.
    • Fluidizes compacted, heavy materials at the intake, ensuring a smooth, continuous feed into the impeller.
    • The motor cooling water jacket prevents overheating, allowing the pump to run safely at very low water levels.
    • Operates at a lower RPM to provide immense torque while significantly reducing abrasion from harsh industrial fluids.
    • Silicon carbide faces housed in an oil chamber provide superior resistance to heat and abrasive particle intrusion.
    • A built-in Circle Thermal Protector instantly cuts power to the motor if dangerous heat or overcurrent is detected.
