West Coast Poly WCP1000FR 1000L Skid Mounted Fire Responder with Honda GX160 Petrol Engine

Sized for rural landholders, land management agencies, and broadacre farming, this system is engineered for safe water transport. The low center of mass mitigates liquid surge effects on moving vehicles.

The water tank has a capacity of 1,000L and is manufactured from UV-stabilised polymer. Sized for industrial vehicles, the complete physical assembly measures approximately 1.50m in width, 1.80m in length, and 1.06m in height on its skid frame. This layout matches flat vehicle platforms, establishing base balance on steep or uneven tracks.

A 5.5hp Honda GX160 petrol engine is paired with a Davey 5155HV single impeller firefighter pump to drive the water transfer lines. The discharge section has a cast aluminium hose reel with manual winding and smooth guide rollers. This reel is loaded with a 30m x 25mm fire fighting hose that terminates in an adjustable flow spray nozzle.

The complete firefighter unit is bolted to a hot dipped galvanised steel skid frame with integrated cargo tie-down points. System plumbing uses 40mm or 50mm camlock quick connection fittings to simplify line routing. Self-filling is achieved via an included 6m suction hose with a foot valve. Standard colours Natural White, Yellow, or Red are available.
