West Coast Poly WCP1500FR 1500L Skid Mounted Fire Responder with Honda GX160 Petrol Engine

High-volume emergency response and on-farm water transfer are provided by the low-profile West Coast Poly WCP1500FR Skid Mounted Fire Responder. Sized for agricultural holdings and broadacre properties, this system transports large water payloads. The flat-tank layout reduces liquid sloshing, promoting vehicular stability on unpaved roads.

Constructed from UV-stabilised polymer, the single-piece water tank holds a volume of 1,500L. Sized for flatbeds, the complete skid assembly measures approximately 2.00m in width, 2.45m in length, and 1.01m in height. The physical tank contains no welds to eliminate stress fatigue, while the low height coordinates weight across the vehicle tray.

Water stream pressure is supplied by a Davey 5155HV single impeller firefighter pump. A 5.5hp Honda GX160 petrol engine powers this transfer system. Sled discharge has a cast aluminium hose reel with manual locking and smooth guide rollers. A 30m x 25mm fire hose is wound on the reel and coupled to an adjustable flow discharge spray nozzle.

The complete responder unit is anchored to a hot dipped galvanised steel skid frame with integrated forklift slots. Suction and delivery lines are configured with 40mm or 50mm camlock quick connection fittings for line routing. Liquid self-filling is completed using a 6m suction hose with a foot valve. Standard colours are yellow or red.
