West Coast Poly WCP600FR 600L Skid Mounted Fire Responder with Honda GX160 Petrol Engine

Shallow tank structures define the low profile layout of the West Coast Poly WCP600FR Skid Mounted Fire Responder. Sized for emergency rural response and land defence, this skid responder sits on utility tray beds or farm trailers. This shape is established to promote vehicle equilibrium and flatbed stability during off-road travel.

The water storage tank holds a physical volume of 600L. Sized for light utility vehicles, the physical footprint dimensions are approximately 1.50m in width, 1.80m in length, and 0.71m in height on its skid frame. This configuration matches flat vehicle platforms, establishing base balance on steep or uneven tracks. The tank is manufactured from polymer.

Water flow is driven by an integrated Davey 5155HV fire pump. This pump operates with a 5.5hp Honda GX160 petrol engine to supply high-pressure discharge. The fluid delivery system has a cast aluminium hose reel with manual winding and smooth guide rollers. The reel contains a 30m x 25mm fire fighting hose coupled to an adjustable nozzle.

The complete system sits on a hot dipped galvanised steel skid frame with integrated tie-down points. Plumbing connections utilize 40mm or 50mm camlock quick connection fittings for suction line routing. Self-filling is achieved via a 6m suction hose with a foot valve for pulling water from dams. Standard colours Natural White, Yellow, or Red are available.
